A career as a commercial pilot is one of the most exciting in the world. It is a career where one gets paid to travel and see the world. One will have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world as a pilot.

Usually, an aspiring pilot from India will travel to another country for training. Popular countries that training organizations send students are: USA, Canada, South Africa, and New Zealand. These countries all provide high quality training. Training on another country not only makes one anexcellent pilot, but will be an adventure. Students training abroad will make friendships with people from around the world, and have an adventure that very few people have.

Pilot Training

Flight training involves learning to fly an aircraft. One will learn the basics of aircraft handling, emergency procedures, and navigation. The student will also attend ground school to learn the theoretical side of flying. Written and practical tests are also required to obtain pilot’s licenses and ratings.

Regardless of one’s personal career aspirations, the first license they will complete is the private pilot license. All persons wishing to fly as a career must next complete their commercial pilot license. This allows the holder to earn a salary as a pilot. Other rating may be adding late in training, such as the night rating, multi-engine rating, instrument rating or flight instructor rating. This will all depend upon the goals of the individual pilot.
