There are a lot of places to do flight training in modern times. Currently, flight training is conducted on 6 of the 7 continents. Where does one go?

North America has a lot of area for flight training. Canada is the second largest country in terms of area, but a small population. This results in a massive amount of area available for all types of flight training.The mountains on the west coast make it unique for flight training.

The United States, although not as large as Canada, still has a lot of area available for flight training. Commercial Pilot License – A Glance into the Procedure!

CPL in Canada

Certification for CPL comes in five different categories. Pilot certificate which comprises of student certificate which an aviation medical examiner issues. Then is sport certificate wherein an applicant should have at least of five hours of flying solo. Then you have to acquire private pilot license wherein one should have at least thirty five hours og flying which comprises of five hours of solo flying and twenty hours of flying with an instructor. It also includes cross-country flying and night flying. One is also required to pass an oral exam.

In order to become eligible to fly commercial planes, candidates should have a validated private pilot license. One should have completed at least 120 hours of training including ten hours of solo flying, fifty five hours with an instructor, and required cross-country and night flying. If you are flying for compensation then having a medical certificate which should be updated every year is important. Along with it pilots must have an instrument rating. It is important for flying in poor weather conditions. At the end of training for CPL in Canada, candidate has to appear for written, practical and oral exam in order to get the license. After completing all these, one becomes entitled to get license for flying commercially.
